Q mode - ik0yuo

IThe Q CODE FOR RADIO
The Q code is a list of signs that summarize a question when followed by a question mark, or a detailed response. Born to telegraphy, it is also used in voice for its brevity and to standardize communications.
The meaning of each code should, or can, be expanded or complemented by the addition of call signs, place names, figures, numbers, etc. The figures in brackets [] are optional and must be transmitted in the same order as they appear in the text. ... Three dots indicate a part that must be completed. Italic type indicates the type of information that must be supplied name or number.
The following is the part of the code which relates Q amateurs. If you are interested, you can also examine the code Q complete.
